New business @ Hillside Brewery (GL17 0NG)
We are an established business moving to the site of HILLSIDE BREWERY at the beginning of September. We supply toiletries (soap and toothpaste etc.) to retail shops. We are looking to fill a number of positions and we hope to find as many staff as possible locally. These positions are:
PICKER / PACKER
Working closely with the warehouse manager you will pick orders placed by our trade customers and pack these into boxes or onto pallets. The role also involves simple administrative tasks and paperwork related to preparation of orders. The successful candidate will be a good worker with excellent attention to detail. Previous experience helpful but not essential as training is provided.
Pay up to £10 per hour depending on experience and ability
WAREHOUSE MANAGER
Responsible for the smooth running of the warehouse and overseeing the work of the pickers / packers. A very hands-on job, this position involves spending time both in the office as well as helping in the warehouse with incoming and outgoing stock. The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a similar position or in another field of basic management. You will be highly organised with an excellent work-ethic.
Pay up to £15 per hour depending on experience and ability. Potential for salary.
ACCOUNTS MANAGER
This role is focused on liaising with both existing and prospective trade customers (shop managers, shop owners and buyers). Our customers tend to be barbershops, pharmacies, online retailers and a variety of independent shops. The role involves responding in a timely manner to all enquiries, making sure customers are informed about new products, and helping to seek out and onboard new customers. The successful candidate will be confident with a pleasant telephone manner, have exceptional abilities of administration and be highly proficient with Outlook, Excel and able to learn quickly how to use other software and systems.
Salaried position, likely to be between £20k - £25k depending on experience and abilities.
